A Gem of the Orient set to open in Boca Raton..The Mandarin Oriental Hotel
Though this is the second Mandarin Hotel to open in South Florida, it’s a major “first” for Boca Raton. Florida’s other Mandarin property is located on the beautiful outpost of Brickell Key just off downtown Miami.
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group recently announced that Boca Raton would be its next spot in the Sunshine state and it is slated to open in the latter half of 2017. The property is under development on the east side of Federal Highway, just north of Camino Real.
The Property Layout:
This majestic structure will consist of two towers. The first tower will have 158 hotel rooms as well as suites. This tower will be aptly named Mandarin Oriental Boca Raton. For those who wish to become residents; there will be a separate tower containing 100 units. The two towers will be connected by a beautiful sky-bridge.
Hotel Amenities:
The hotel will boast many attractive amenities. Have lunch or dinner in the restaurant with the bar and outdoor terrace; then, walk just a few feet to the pool; all located on the rooftop. The hotel will also provide spa facilities; a cake shop; club and lobby lounges. The beach is just a stone’s throw away as well.
For business guests and events there will be a 4,500 foot ballroom and conference facilities. This is a high-end development by Penn-Florida Cos. of Boca Raton.
