Royal Palm Polo
Royal Palm Polo is a much anticipated community of homes being built on an historic tract in Boca Raton. For fifty-two years, ending in 2008, Royal Palm Polo was one of the premier places anywhere to watch the sport of polo being played in a stunning environment with South Florida’s finest crowds. Since then the property has been very quiet, with a few horses still around, plus events like an annual traveling circus that was staged on the southeast corner of the property under a big top.
The property was also used in the past by Land Rover who would invite car owners to drive through the woods on the property to learn how to handle vehicles in “off road” conditions.
Eight years and a crazy economic / real estate rollercoaster ride later, Toll Brothers has begun development of the property with the intention of building over 200 custom homes. Most homes will have over 5000 sq ft. of under air living space. The community will also have a tropical pool, fabulous fitness center, six Har-Tru® clay tennis courts, and a playground for the kids with lush landscaping throughout.
Royal Palm Polo sits on one of the last undeveloped parcels in all of Boca Raton, just north of Clint Moore Road and east of the Florida Turnpike. What was once surrounded by orchards is now a busy yet exclusive portion of town that includes other high-end communities, plus upscale shopping, hair salons, and dining just a bit up the street from its Jog Road location. It’s also very close to the famed Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens.
Model homes at Royal Palm Polo are now open and available for touring. They’re worth a close look!
