Located just east of Interstate 95, and on the corner of Glades Road and Airport Road, Boca Raton Community High School can be found right in the heart of the city. The school has over 3100 students, making it one of the largest in the nation, and also features many programs separating it from other high schools in the area.
The school is highly regarded for its STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and its AICE diploma program. The STEM program provides students with an opportunity to take advanced classes to challenge themselves and gain skills that are in high demand in the workforce.
AICE classes are the University of Cambridge’s college level classes provided for high school students, and Boca Raton Community High School enables students to enhance their education with these, as well as many Advanced Placement courses.
Boca Raton Community High School is well regarded for its Navy Junior Reserves Officer Training Corps (NJORTC) program. This provides students with an opportunity to take part in military-like exercises, and they participate in various competitions across the country. Their NJROTC program recently placed 1st in the nation, and is continuing to improve and provide students with a beneficial experience while also providing advantages in the search for colleges.
Boca Raton Community High School also has numerous clubs and sports that students can partake in, such as Paw Pals, French club, Anime club and many more. However, if a student can’t find the right club for them, they can simply start their own! Students can also try out and take part in one of the schools many sports programs, including tennis and lacrosse and make lasting memories and great friendships along the way.
