Boca Middle is a great neighborhood school. It is located just north of Palmetto Park Road and slightly east of Interstate 95 in Boca Raton, near its neighboring high school, the beach and Town Center Mall. The school has approximately 1500 students.

In addition to the standard and gifted classes, there are two noteworthy academies within Boca Middle, pre-med and math. The math academy offers higher level math classes.  The pre-med program is science heavy and designed for students who think they want to get into the medical profession.

The teachers are a nice mix of seasoned and newer individuals and the highly capable school administrators are devoted to making your child feel at home while also being challenged. This is a significant achievement given the breadth of Boca Middle School, both in terms of size and the socioeconomic diversity of the student body. .

Kids can take buses in the morning and afternoon.  The school offers lunch that your child can buy or they can bring from home. There are subsidized lunch options as well.

In-school activities at Boca Middle include student government. This class teaches leadership skills and contributes to the community. Kids participating in student government have opportunities to take field trips and interact with other schools.

Along with team sports which play other Palm Beach County middle schools, there are intramural sports after school and open to everyone. Each semester the sport changes. Intramurals are a great way to make new friends and improve skills in a low key environment.
