Parkside
Parkside is a well-kept, conveniently located, and somewhat under the radar community of just over 200 homes in South-Central Boca Raton. The homes were built beginning in the mid-1980’s. Parkside isn’t a country club, but it is gated, with a clubhouse (that includes a functioning kitchen, so it’s ideal for parties) and tennis courts. There is also a basketball court and playground for kids.
Its location is on Military Trail, between Camino Real and Southwest 18th Street, which is ideal for anyone who’s looking for a beautiful home while also being in close proximity to Interstate 95. If a commuter were heading south for work, then it’s a short jaunt to pick up the highway in Deerfield Beach, on Hillsboro Boulevard and conversely, if heading north, then the Palmetto Park Road entrance is just up the street as well.
Homes in Parkside are typically selling in the $600,000 to $1,200,000 range which puts them in the higher pricing tier for this quadrant of Boca Raton, and are considerably more affordable than homes of similar size that are further east. The one caveat is that there are a couple other communities nearby that are “less costly” for similar sized properties, with the main reason being that they are much closer to the highway or train tracks.
Parkside deserves strong consideration if you are looking for a high-end, family-friendly neighborhood in this part of town.
