Old Floresta
Old Floresta is one of the oldest and most upscale neighborhoods in Boca Raton. Dating back to the 1920’s, it has tree-lined, narrow streets with beautiful, unique and quirky properties. Most embrace an old Florida lifestyle from an architectural and landscaping perspective.
When compared to most other neighborhoods on the east side of town (with the exception of Royal Palm), Old Floresta’s property values are quite high. That’s due to its historic status, incredibly well placed location and impressive homes, many of which have been rebuilt or improved upon over the years. More so than other neighborhoods that are on the east side of town, some houses have a surprising amount of land. There are also homes which are quite secluded, down roads that become a dead end cul-de-sac. A handful of the most grandiose ones are located down a road no larger than an alley.
Lots of families with children live in Old Floresta and as a result there is lots of outdoor activity. Bikers, skateboarders, joggers and dog walkers are always around.
Old Floresta is located east of Interstate 95 and between Glades Road and Palmetto Park Roads, in close proximity to the hospital and the Boca Raton Museum of Art School.
